About Me

Ken Bullock

I was born, raised, and educated in Bannock County, I owned a business in Bannock County and I have worked for 40 years in Business and management opportunities within Bannock County.


I am still taking care of my elderly parents in local Assisted Living Center while three of my sons are gainfully employed and raising families in Bannock County.


This is my county and feel great pride in representing Bannock County on the Commission. I look forward to the opportunity to once again serve. I believe in communication, relationships, and working together while remaining fiscally responsible with our county budget.

Experienced Leadership

 

  • Bannock County Commissioner (2016-2019): Managed county administration, budgeting, and personnel supervision. Engaged in public relations, community outreach, and collaboration with various governmental entities. Conducted public meetings with county departments and stakeholders. Proficient in fund management, government accounting, and contract negotiations.
  • Mayor and Councilman (1984-2016): Led city administration, budgeting, and personnel supervision for 22 years as Mayor. Spearheaded public meetings, city infrastructure updates, and zoning ordinance enhancements. Expertise in grant acquisition, economic development, and comprehensive planning.
  • Partners For Prosperity (2004-2016): Served as Associate Director, Financial Manager, and Human Resource Director. Focused on workforce training, economic development, and financial education. Secured grants and managed coalitions for financial improvement in Southeastern Idaho.
  • Fiscal Officer, Controller, Accountant (1990-2004): Supervised accounting staff and provided financial reporting to company leadership. Offered consulting and forecasting for wholesale/retail businesses.
  • Consultant and Contracted Instructor (2000-present): Designed, marketed, and delivered customized consulting and training for businesses and organizations. Provided strategic guidance on process improvement and staff development.
  • Board Roles and State Committees: Served in leadership roles on various boards and state committees across Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, contributing as Board President, Treasurer, and financial committee member.
